The Wolf’s Mate

Happy 2020 to you.

Yesterday I re-released my first back title for this new year and it’s The Wolf’s Mate (previously titled A Wolf’s Mate). It’s book six in my Kalispell Shifters series and is a follow up story to Christmas With Two Alphas. It features Nick from that story and in this one, he finds his mate.

If you haven’t already read it, I hope you’ll pick up a copy and follow along with the Kalispell Shifters stories. If you have, then I hoped you enjoyed it.

Here’s  look at the cover

Forbidden

I’ve slowly been making my way through all the titles I got rights back to and finally got around to the two that were previously published by Total E Bound…can’t believe it’s been nine years since I first wrote them.

The first one is Forbidden. It’s the first story where I explored the theme of and older woman and a younger man falling it love,  and it’s set in one of my favorite places in the world, Majorca.

Hope you like it as much as I did writing it….

When Maggie falls for Dr. Jon Gunderson, she not only loses her best friend’s trust but her life takes an unexpected turn.

Julie was Maggie’s mentor and has been her best friend for as long as she can remember. When she finally gets a chance to visit her on the island of Majorca, she falls for Julie’s son, Jon, and the two enjoy a week of sexual bliss. When Julie finds out about their affair, she tells Maggie she can never forgive her. However, Maggie carries a secret that will have life-altering changes not only for herself, but for Jon too.

 Excerpt-

Maggie moved the air conditioning vent toward her face. Was it getting hotter the farther they drove inland or was she having the first of the dreaded hot flashes? No, Jon was making that perspiration trickle between her breasts. She’d be glad to get to Julie’s house so she could take a nice cold shower.

“Still too hot for you?”

Had he noticed her sweating? Blushing maybe?

“No, I’ve just been in these clothes for too long. I can’t wait to take them off.”

Had that sounded like she thought?

She lifted her T-shirt away from her skin and waved it around, hoping to cool down. Damn, her bra was showing. Jon glanced over, not at her face but at her chest, and Maggie realized she’d made yet another dumb mistake. She hoped he didn’t think she’d flashed him on purpose.

“Mom tells me you have your own interior design business.”

“Yes, for a decade now.”

“She says you’re very talented.”

“Well, if I am, I have her to thank. She taught me everything I know.”

“And one of your daughters just had a baby, is that right?”

“Yes, a little girl, she’s gorgeous… I guess all grandmothers think that.”

“You look far too young to be one.”

Now she definitely was blushing. Her cheeks felt hot, her forehead hotter.

“I think of grannies as little old ladies with white hair, thick pantyhose and drab sweaters,” he said.

“I hope I never look like that.”

“I doubt you will. You’re too…”

“Too what?”

“I was going to say hot but I don’t want you telling my mom I was hitting on you on the drive home.”

This really was getting uncomfortable. Could he be feeling a physical attraction towards her, too?

Dangerous territory ahead.

She wiped her brow. Maybe it was the heat or the fact that she’d gone too long without having a night of mind-blowing sex. God, she hoped the shower at Julie’s wasn’t like the European plumbing she’d read about. Scalding hot water one minute, cold the next. All she’d need was an ice-cold setting to cool her down and bring her to her senses.

“We’re heading through Inca right now.”

Maggie was glad to focus her thoughts on something else as she looked out of the window at the town they were passing through.

“Looks interesting.”

“It’s one of the best places to buy leather goods if you’re interested. Just let me know and I can drive you back here. We can spend the day wandering around seeing the sights and then do some shopping.”

Maybe I can just rent a car. He might find that rude after his kind offer. If she kept her distance, constantly reminded herself he was Julie’s offspring, she’d be able to keep everything in perspective. Yeah, there’d be no problem whatsoever.

Anything You Want

I squeezed in some time to revamp the next book…only nine more to go!

This one was first published under the title Maybe Next Time by Evernight Publishing in 2013 for their Romance on the Go line.

It’s a cougar romance so if you like the older woman and hot younger man theme this is for you-

Gina’s feeling old and overweight and all she needs is someone to knock down a wall in her house so she can build an at home gym.

Enter Sean who’s short on cash but full of ambition and twelve years her junior. His dad always told him never mix business with pleasure but where this older woman’s concerned Sean’s willing to make an exception.

Gina might be slowly falling in love with the young hunk but what will happen when he comes to his senses and realizes she can never give him a family?

Can a cougar capture her man?

My last story of the year is released by Evernight Publishing on Friday December 14th.

Here’s the blurb-

While heading home on Christmas Eve, CEO Shaun Cullen notices that the lights on the main floor are still on and decides to turn them off. There he finds a slip of red paper and upon reading it learns it’s a dirty letter to Santa and signed by someone called Naughty Noelle. He discovers she’s the alter ego of employee Ellen Nelson, and the letter is her confession about everything bad she’s done at work, and also her lust for him. Will he fire her or will he visit her dressed as Santa and hand out some of his own form of punishment?
