I just released a book in my brand new series Big Sky Lawmen.
As you can guess each story will be set in some part of Montana and feature a lawman and the woman who steals his heart.
The first story, Matt, is loosely based on onr I published with Evernight in 2012 (How I Met My Lover).
Here’s the synopsis and an excerpt…hope you enjoy the book.
Matt Hennessey is sheriff of Glacier Valley County and wants nothing more than to have the county return to its law abiding ways. Big city trouble seems to be moving into Big Sky and when a local FBI agent asks Matt to go undercover he has no idea that another crime’s about to be committed.
Emily Garwood has just returned home to Montana and plans to go to law school but money’s tight. She runs into an old school friend who somehow talks her into giving the escort business a try.
When Matt agrees to pose as a client he doesn’t count on the escort being cute and curvy and just his type. He comes away with little information about her boss but knows he’s somehow fallen for a lady with a shady job.
Emily has no idea the man who she’s fallen for is the sheriff but when Emily’s friend is beaten and ends up in a coma, it’s up to Emily and Matt to work together to find the culprit and rid Big Sky of the bad guy.
Can they both get the job done and will true love shine through?
Emily looked at the clock on the pay per view box above the TV. It was almost 7.20 p.m. Mia had told her the client would arrive at 7 p.m. Maybe he’d changed his mind. Perhaps this was a sign that she wasn’t supposed to go ahead with this. Her hands had been shaking for the last half an hour while she’d sat on the bed and waited.
The minutes had passed like hours.
All sorts of horrible thoughts had gone through her mind. What if she didn’t excite him? What if she couldn’t make him hard? What if he wanted her to do something she didn’t know how to do? She should have checked out some sex websites before heading here. Maybe even taken Mia up on her offer to sit in and watch her in action. Nope, she’d never be able to look Mia in the face again if she’d done that.
And what about her? What if she didn’t get excited about this guy? What if he was repulsive? What if he didn’t get her wet enough and it hurt like hell?
Mia had told her the client had paid for a regular session which was two hours. Just how would she keep him continually entertained for that long?
The clock turned to 7.22 p.m.
He definitely wasn’t showing. He’d changed his mind.
Yeah, and so had she.
No way was she cut out for this sort of thing. Sure, she’d spent most of the day at the hairdressers getting her hair cut and highlighted, even having her nails manicured. And yes, the technician had talked her into applying stick-on false nails because Emily was a bad girl and bit hers down to virtually nothing.
And let’s not forget that this was against the law.
What was I thinking? I’ve got to get out of here.
She grabbed her bag and threw it over her shoulder. If she left now everything would be fine. She’d phone Mia, and maybe she’d still have time to race across town and get here in time for her client. Well, that was if he even showed up. Emily headed to the door, ready to exit and run as fast as she could, vowing to forget she was even here and was about to do something this stupid, when she heard two raps on it.
Damn, too late.
Her legs shook and they were now downright wobbly too, and she doubted she’d even get one in front of the other to walk, let alone run. She just had this awful feeling in the pit of her stomach that — what was his name? — yeah, Mia had told her Matt.
She’d tell him he had the wrong room. She’d send him down the hallway on a wild goose chase, and when he wasn’t looking she’d make a mad dash for the elevator.
This was it.
She opened the door ready to tell him the bogus story, but holy shit, he was gorgeous. No, this could be the client. The guy really did have the wrong room because why would a man who looked like this have to pay for sex?
As many of you know I’ve been slowly revamping my back titles. I had a whole bunch of stories that were previously published by Cobblestone Press. Some of them I wanted to give a total makeover while others, a slight tweak. I had one called The Hamilton Men that had been part of my Big Bad Bosses trilogy. It was one of my favorites and I didn’t want to do too much to it. I came up with the idea of making it part of another established series and Fantasy LLC has become its new home.
It’s now told in first person, present tense, and this time Fantasy LLC has delved into some time travel.
Here’s the synopsis and an excerpt. BTW, this is the first time I’ve made my own book cover so I hope you like it.
Fantasy LLC, an exclusive organization where only a lucky few get to live out their wildest sexual dreams and let their inhibitions run free.
It’s not for the faint of heart and money or fame can’t buy you a way in.
An anonymous panel of philanthropists decides who will be the lucky recipient of the month. Application forms and essays are judged on their creativity and how turned on they get by what the applicant wishes for.
Winners are everyday people, bored housewives, teachers, doctors, virgins, and people just like Mathilda Wellington who was lucky enough to be picked as this month’s recipient…
Mathilda works in a library and her favorite area that houses the Victorian erotica. When she dares to write to Fantasy LLC describing how she’d like to be transported to Victorian England and be a maid in the home of a sexy British man, she has no idea that she’s going to live each minute as if it’s really happening.
Can time travel really happen…Mathilda’s about to find out…
“Thank you, sir.”
“That’s the second time you’ve blushed.”
“I’m sorry, sir.”
“No reason to apologize.”
He puts his hand on top of mine. “Soft too. I would imagine they’d feel wonderful on my body.”
My hand shakes as he holds it and run his index finger over each knuckle, paying special attention to the indentions between them.
“Is there anything else I can get you, sir?” I don’t know what else to say or what to do.
“Some toast, and a generous helping of the kedgeree.”
He finally releases my hand. I manage to walk to the table where the food sits in silver dishes. My legs shake, wondering what he’ll do next when I return to the table.
I place the food in front of him, and as I turn, I can’t be one hundred percent positive, but I’m sure he just touched my bottom. I freeze on the spot.
“I can’t see your face, but I’m guessing you’re blushing again.”
It wasn’t my imagination. He did touch me.
“That’s all for now. Go back to Mrs. Williams, and she’ll tell you what to do next.”
I got ahead of schedule and as this book was ready I decided to release it earlier than planned.
It’s an anthology of four of my stories that were previously published by Cobblestone Press.
Taken for a Ride, The Vampire’s Seduction, Stranger in Town and Friends with Benefits.
If you haven’t read them before I hope you’ll enjoy them all together in this one book. And if you use to buy my books at All Romance E Books remember you can buy them at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and Smashwords, and most other online book stores.
Taken for A Ride
When two nightclub employees decide to go for a ride in one of the customer’s cars they get more than they bargained for.
The Vampire’s Seduction
Rachel loved her job at the private investigation company and recovering a client’s jewelry was all she had in mind the night she attends a party at the home of Shane Stevens. She’s always found him different to other men but is in the surprise of her life when he catches her red handed sneaking around where she’s been told not to venture.
Stranger in Town
The last thing Laura Reed needed was to end up in the ER while she’s out of town on a job interview. However, not all is lost when Paul Crosby mistakes her for his sister. Laura soon discovers that being an out of towner has its pluses.
Friends with Benefits
What goes around comes around or so Ashley believes when she does a good deed for her BFF. Teaching the baking class isn’t her ideal of fun until a tall handsome stranger walks in.
My final release of 2016 is published today and it’s Big Bad Bear which is book 3 of my Forbidden Shifters series.
It was one of my favorite stories to write because it has two love stories rolled into one.
Here’s the synopsis and excerpt.
Welcome to Bay Harbor Springs, one of the first towns in Benningan County to experiment with the idea that their bear shifter population and non-shifter residents should finally be allowed to date, have sex, and possibly mate.
Before legislation passed, all shifters were known as forbidden and any shifter found to have anything but a platonic or business relationship with their non-shifter counterpart would be forced to wear a radio tracker, be fined, sometimes jailed, and repeat offenders were banished from Benningan County for ten years.
The non-shifter female residents sometimes found this rule the hardest to abide by because everyone knows that a bear shifter is downright hunkalicious.
Many women found themselves unable to resist these sexy werebears and many of the bad boys paid the price by handing over huge fines for a short kiss while others spent time behind bars for a quick rendezvous in the backseat of a parked car.
The Non-Shifter Alliance (all male) have decided that each month a limited number of permits will need to be issued before any sexual activity can commence and it’s on a purely first come first served basis.
As you can imagine, a record number were applied for just minutes after the ban was officially abolished and sexual encounters with the Forbidden Shifters began soon after.
These are the stories…
Josie Moss has finally found her man. Now all she has to do is find some way to get into his house so she can arrest him. Pull off this assignment and she’s on the fast track to promotion in the Werebear Division of Enforcement. However, this isn’t just any man. It’s Transporter, Liam Quinn, werebear and all around sexy hunk and he’s not likely to go down without a fight. Josie doesn’t count on him being ten times more handsome in person than his mugshot and that she’ll becoming putty in his hands. When he leaves her naked and tied up with her own handcuffs, she vows to track him down again.
After being put on the Second Tier offender’s list, Liam wants nothing more than to get even with Josie. There’s only one problem… she might be his mate.
Can these two ever get past their differences, put aside the fact that it’s the hunter versus the hunted and live happily ever after?
Holy cannoli, I wanted him so bad, to have him make love to me and this time in my bed.
I tried to dial but his scent and arousal took control again. My juices ran down my inner thighs. I looked at him and he smiled. He knew exactly what he was doing.
“You coming to join me or what?”
I threw down the phone and ran over to the bed, jumping onto it and him. Before I knew it he had me over his lap and my butt was sticking in the air.
“Someone’s been a naughty girl,” Liam said.
I knew exactly what he was referring to.
“You know what us bears do to bad girls?”
“I’m sure you’re going to show me,” I said.
His hand came down on my right ass cheek.
“What have you got to say to that?” Liam asked.
Could I have another came to mind because although it stung, it had actually turned me on.
“A girl has to do what she has to,” I said.
His hand hit the other cheek this time and my nipples turned hard and tender and I creamed.
“I can smell your arousal, Josie Moss.”
“And I can smell yours too,” I told him.
He spanked me twice in quick succession and I guessed the skin on my ass was turning pink.
“I really shouldn’t give you want you like, what turns you on, but maybe I can use that as your punishment.”
This week’s release is book two in my Regency Rakes and Rogues series.
It’s a story that was previously published by Cobblestone Press in my Brazen Ladies Series but I’ve re-edited it, tweaked it a little and changed the viewpoint to present tense.
Here are the synopsis and an excerpt-
Fiona Northrup seems doomed to marry an impotent titled man who she does not love. However, fate soon hands her an opportunity she can’t resist acting upon. When Henry Dalglish needs helping in hiding a document he’s just stolen she strikes a bargain with him of the most pleasurable kind.
“Don’t think I’m not enjoying your company and would love to spend time getting to know you, but I really need the paper I gave you so I can be on my way.”
“I don’t have it with me,” I announce.
His smile turns to a frown. “But that was our arrangement.”
“It was your arrangement, not mine,” I say.
“Why do I have a feeling there is some sort of condition attached to me getting what I want.”
He is smart as well as being delightfully and devilishly handsome.
“Yes, the condition is I get what I want, and then you get your paper.”
“And what is it that you want? Henry asks.
I move my chair in closer and lean across the table. Although the chatter is getting louder in the inn, I prefer to keep my business between the two of us.
“I wish for you to give me twelve orgasms in one night.”
“You are a naughty young lady,” he whispers back. I feel myself getting more aroused when he glances down at my bodice and pushes my hand down harder on his cock.
“Are you up to the challenge?” I ask under my breath.
“Will I get my paper if I say no, or only give you eleven?” Henry asks.
“I will burn it as soon as I return home,” I tell him.
“I should tell you that the safety of this fine nation rests entirely upon me having that piece of paper and that you are selfishly putting your own bodily pleasure ahead of it.”
“You said I was naughty.”
“Then it seems I will have to sacrifice my body for crown and country.”
“I am sure you will do a fine job,” I tell him.
My second release this month is book two in my Fantasy LLC series and this one’s called The Handyman.
Here’s the cover, description and a short excerpt.
As always I hope you enjoy it…
Fantasy LLC, an exclusive organization where only a lucky few get to live out their wildest sexual dreams and let their inhibitions run free.
It’s not for the faint of heart, and money or fame can’t buy you a way in.
An anonymous panel of philanthropists decide who will be the lucky recipient of the month. Application forms and essays are judged on their creativity and how turned on they get by what the applicant wishes for.
Winners are everyday people, bored housewives, teachers, doctors, virgins, and people just like Maddie Chamberlin who always had a crush on her BFF’s father, Kyle.
Will Maddie’s fantasy about him visiting her house as the handyman be as good in reality as it is in her imagination?
“Excuse me is this seat taken?” a man’s voice rings out when I’m deep in thought not paying too much attention to my surroundings.
I look up to respond to him and it’s him. Well, I think it’s him because he looks older. Of course he would. I’m older too. I blush again knowing what I was just thinking about him and the whole fantasy thing and…
“No, no one’s sitting here,” I say, moving my legs to the right so he can squeeze by me.
As he does so, the smell of aftershave hits my nostrils. I take a deep breath, soon feeling his leg brush mine.
What a coincidence seeing him after all this time and today my fantasy is supposed to begin.
He reaches over and puts his hand on top of my leg, giving it a slight squeeze. “In case you’re wondering, your fantasy begins now,” he whispers in my ear.
It’s been some time since I’ve written a story featuring a cowboy so my latest release is Callum which is book one in my new Western Erotic Romance series titled Cowboy Tough.
Here’s a brief overview of the series and this story plus a short excerpt.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.
Welcome to my new Western series, Cowboy Tough, the handsome and sexy guys who round up cattle, ride in rodeos, uphold law and order or maybe get themselves in the odd fight or two. However, they all have one thing in common; they’re lovable guys hiding under one tough and kiss ass exterior and whether they know it or not, highly vulnerable when they meet the right woman…
Olivia Simpson thought she’d left hurt and violence behind but when she ends up with a bullet in her shoulder it brings back fear and pain into her life.
Callum Monroe was looking for a place to enjoy a beer on a Saturday night when he saw a crowd gathering outside of the women’s shelter where his sister volunteers. It’s there he zeroes in on a woman who’s hurt and for some reasons, he’s immediately drawn to her and doesn’t leave her side.
Olivia believes Callum has an ulterior motive for hanging around but she’s not interested in him or any other man.
Can this sexy cowboy convince Olivia that he’s just what she needs to heal the pain and sadness of her past life?
“Sorry, pretend you didn’t hear that,” he said. Had he gone red in the face? Another first for him.
“It’s okay. I’m guessing something made you say it.”
“Yeah, got a sliver in my palm about an hour ago. I thought I’d pulled it out but now every time I touch something it hurts like crazy.”
“You want me to take a look for you?” Olivia asked him.
The thought of her playing nurse excited him. He grew hard just thinking about her hands on him. It was almost worth getting the sliver.
“That would be great,” Callum said. More than great, more like fantastic.
“Do you have a flashlight?” Olivia asked.
“I sure do.”
Callum rummaged through his toolbox and pulled out a small green one. He handed it to Olivia.
“Let me take a look,” she said.
He offered her his palm and she focused the beam on his hand.
“It feels like it’s in the fleshy part,” Callum said.
“Yep, I think I can see just a little piece of wood sticking out from your skin by your thumb.”
She gently rubbed it and oh yeah, that was it but he didn’t make sound because he didn’t want her to think he was whippy or anything like that.
“I have my eyebrow tweezers in my purse and I’ll have that out in no time.”
She dug through her bag and pulled them out. “If you could hold the flashlight with your other hand and focus the beam it will be easier for me,” she said.
Callum took it from her and kept the light steady as best he could. She held his hand and soon the sliver was history.
“How much do I owe you?” Callum asked her while looking her straight in the eye. Those beautiful eyes that had clearly seen pain and hurt and he was going to put laughter and pleasure back into them.
“It’s on the house,” Olivia said.
He leaned toward her, knowing full well he was going to kiss her again. Was he a fool or what? Getting himself all worked up again but he couldn’t resist those sweet lips of hers.
He put his arm around hers this time, pulling her in close, hoping she’d feel his excitement for her. She didn’t protest and to his surprise she let her body melt into his. He kissed her, this time with more urgency than the night before. Callum sensed some resistance on her part but she still let him hold her. The next move he knew was a brave one because he didn’t want to scare her but he tickled her lower lip with his tongue, allowing it to flutter a while before slipping it into her mouth.
She still didn’t protest and hadn’t pushed him away.
This wasn’t the place to have their first sexual encounter. Debris, dust, and nowhere nice to lay her down and bring pleasure to her body. They both pulled away at the same, almost as if they were thinking the same thing. This wasn’t the place.
“You want me to give you a riding lesson?”
His brain and mouth were out of sync lately. Why had he asked her such a question right now?
She knitted her eyebrows together like she knew it was dumb too. Or maybe…
“I mean on a horse,” Callum quickly added.
Olivia burst out laughing. He hadn’t seen her in such a happy mood before and he was glad his faux pas had caused it.
“I knew what you meant but it’s still funny that you quickly added the word horse?”
“Well do you?” he asked.
